Alrighty,
so i know that i joined this whole blogging experience thing awhile back, but I sorta forgot about having one! And even though i didn't remember even OWNING a blog, there just hasn't been a whole lot to talk about. hah. in other news...my mom recently did not have a job for the fact that her contract at the school she had been teaching at, was not renewed. This had a very negative effect on my family. I/We had gone through so much in this last year that I just kept thinking "why us?" "Why can't we just be settled already and not deal with these unfortunate events that seem to keep reoccurring?" Well, today at church my undying questions were answered. Pat preached on the fact that we need to be patient. And for all of you that know me, you might comply that I'm not the MOST patient person in the world...Well anyways, Pat went on to say in the message that we have to "have the battle before we get to the victory." I thought this was especially applicable to my family due to the events that transpired the past 12 months. Even though we had to endure hardships, we still needed to trust in God and be patient. I feel like it finally paid off. My mom was informed about her job, or lack there of, right before school let out...but finally after many ups and downs, not knowing where she would fall into place, she applied at Lancaster Christian Academy where she will be teaching second grade! and best off all, I will be just right down the hall as I am attending LCA this year! I'm so excited to see what God has in store for BOTH of us at LCA, and even more our family in the upcoming years in Tennessee! I hope that you all have a wonderful rest of the summer and a great start to this next school year!
